Crewe used its investment banking relationships and expertise to purchase $40 million worth of a multi-billion-dollar pre-IPO tech company (name confidential) at a significant discount to the valuation set by institutional investors in the previous round of funding.
Example of a merchant Banking real estate Transaction:
Through relationships of trust built over a long period of time, Crewe identified an off market opportunity to purchase a 173,266-square-foot office building occupied by Qualtrics (NYSE: XM). Crewe negotiated the purchase contract, performed due diligence, arranged debt financing, and negotiated a new tenant lease prior to the expiration of the inspection period. From start to finish, Crewe completed the transaction in 45 days.
